”A Space Carefully Designed to Inspire”

Ford Land has transformed the Electric Vehicle Development Center into a modern workspace where simplicity meets innovation. While a great deal of thought went into every detail of the design, the result feels refreshingly straightforward—like unboxing a new gadget that just works, without overcomplication.

Natural light was essential to the renovation, with added windows and skylights filling the workspace with daylight. Biophilic elements bring nature indoors, including a signature Green Wall featuring five different plant species and a self-sustaining moss that requires no watering or sunlight, yet purifies indoor air while regulating humidity and releasing oxygen throughout the day.

Brand elements and textures are also subtly integrated into the design, making the space uniquely Ford. Most notably, electric blue LED accent lighting unifies and energizes various team areas and highlights architectural features while nodding to Ford’s commitment to electric vehicle innovation.

The campus features flexible collaboration areas, state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with cutting-edge tools for vehicle testing, and thoughtful amenities including coffee bars, wellness rooms, and outdoor dining terraces. Employees have the spaces and tools they need to do their best work, with the added amenities to feel supported throughout the workday.

Yet for all its sophistication, the space succeeds because of its essential simplicity: open layouts that promote spontaneous conversations, where colleagues naturally cross paths and ideas spark in ways that wouldn’t happen working remotely or sitting in the same seat every day. This transformation represents Ford’s dedication to creating workspaces where employees and ideas thrive.
